Clarity

It is decidedly rare finding in nature a diamond deprived of internal and external characteristics, called inclusions.

These small features represent the fingerprint of each diamond.

The “clarity” measures the size, the number, the position and the nature of each inclusion (both internal and external) and more importantly it measures their color and influence on life and durability of the stone itself.

The current classification, based on studies and parameters GIA, classifies the clarity of a diamond in a decreasing scale of 11 levels from FL (flawless), without any internal and external inclusion, to I3 (included), where the diamond is strongly “included” and in turn its durability is greatly compromised.
